At least the doctor's doing what he thinks is right. Not sure we can trust him, though. But watch him.
Brave words from the Doctor. He thinks he can "investigate" what's happening. It's obvious that this is more than he, New York's entire medical community, and the freaking United States Government can handle. Well, if this is what many of us suspect, and our government and scientists are stumped, it's probably just as well that the Doctor have a hobby to enjoy before the plague gets us all or we're destroyed to prevent further contamination.
